We had a great deal for the price at Avalon House. The location was safe and very close to St. Stephen's Green. The staff were good and the 24-hour reception was convenient. The large lockers downstairs provided extra security for our belongings. Despite the small rooms, they were clean and served their purpose as a clean place to sleep. Avalon House was well worth the price and I would recommend it.

I had a great stay at Avalon House! The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the city and visit all the main attractions. The bathrooms and showers were clean, which was a big plus. The staff was helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The free breakfast provided a good variety of options, including bread, cereals, yogurt, and jam. The hostel had a spacious kitchen, which was convenient for preparing meals. I had a positive experience and would recommend this hostel to others looking for an affordable and convenient stay in Dublin.

There was always someone on the desk who was friendly and answered all our questions in detail. It's very secure and reasonably quiet. I would stay there again

I recently stayed at Avalon House in Dublin for a few nights. The building itself is interesting and the location is fantastic, just 5 minutes from St. Stephen's Green. There are plenty of great places to eat and drink right outside the door. The hostel has a friendly vibe throughout and a great cafe. The staff, especially Kiko and Lisa, were consistently professional, helpful, and always smiling. The rooms are large, clean, luminous, and colorful. a great location for a great price!
Would recommend this hotel.

We loved the Cafe next to the Hostel, the Bald Barista. And the includet breakfast was ok.
Everything is very old and looks a little bit dirty.

Dirty dirty and dirty!!!

Excellent location - 5 mins wall from Temple Bar/Grafton St. Free Wi-Fi (ground floor and 1st floor only). Luggage storage. Coffee shop attached to hostel. Good free breakfast - tea, cereal, toast...pretty secure hostel, use your card to access all areas. Peaceful sleep, no noise at night after 11pm.
